Nice Kobun King! I can remember taking in a monk, a mm and a warrior to farm the queen once.. This greatly improves the effectiveness indeed!

Also, I used the build in Fort Aspenwood.. SO FUNNY! U should try it, all those assasins and warriors that come and beat themselves to death to your Vengeful weapons... It's horrible how stupid people can be. Not really something that works in a team, but there were quite some kurzicks (im luxon) that lolled with me on the stupid guys. Also, i'll try farming the yeti's now and report back if it's any good Bye

Yeti's arent too farmable.. Not any drops as of yet, and quite some of them have Healing Signet - which the build does not counter. Most of the time you're running to stay alive from the healing sig yetis.

Ditto if you unlock it by buying it for another character.

I've only done that with one skill -- Verata's Sacrifice (before the MM changes).

I've also bought a few skills so as to avoid the skill quests (e.g., Death Nova).

Finally, if a skill is only available from late-game skill trainers, you may be able to cap it earlier. That's how I first got Aftershock. But that said, I don't recall a lot of monsters using SV ...

I'm getting very tempted to substitute Vengeful Weapon into the Slivernewal build (for Stone Daggers, I imagine) and see what happens.

I can't offhand think of anybody this would be good against except trolls, avicara, and minotaurs (and minotaurs only if you don't want to keep going and take down some Dune Burrowers). But it might speed up the kills there and, better, minimize the chance of not getting off a full five spells when Ether Renewal comes up. In fact, 6 spells becomes theoretically possible due to the cast time, which makes the idea very appealing ...

Arggh. It's not working. Can't get 5 spells off, let alone 6. I checked. I'm not getting 5 off with the standard build either. This is mainly with my 19% enchantment extender, sometimes with the 20%.

And that's even when I don't have any AoE in there, so it has nothing to do with a longer aftercast for PBAoE than for other spells (which I strongly think is a myth).

This build is very versatile.

Even with the nerf he's still farmable, as long as you take care of half of the jade brotherhood/am fah guys yourself without reaggroing Xuekao. He can kill a fair amount of them by himself. I've also gotten jadeite shards more than once from doing this run.

You can run by all the mobs if you just want to get to Lou (while holding the ashes), or you can farm them since they do drop purple and gold armor fairly often. Might wanna replace one of the visage spells for power drain or some other interrupt to interrupt Lou's shadow refuge since you don't need both to kill him.

Use illusion of haste to get past the mob(s) that spawn infront of Chkkr. Reapply it fast if it gets stripped and continue running to Chkkr until your aggro circle is just right infront of him and the mob(s) chasing you should break. Use conjure phantasm to weaken his troll unguent when he's near death. It's probably better to use an interrupt over conjure phantasm for his troll unguent, I just don't have one at the moment.

There's a few other bosses I think can be done, possibly with the rt/r version, but I haven't gotten those bosses down quite yet.

Edit: Here's one of the other bosses I was trying to get down, and have finally done successfully.

This run has the biggest luck factor of any of the ones I've posted. After you leave Harvest temple, just die to the Shiro'Ken since there's no way you can kill them with this build. As soon as you spawn at the shrine, cast arcane echo and run towards the creeping carp. As soon as they start moving towards you, cast vengeful was khanhei before they strip your arcane echo. If you fail this part, you're doomed and you'll have to start over again. Make sure no more than 1 shrine guard gets involved in this fight, or else it's going to be harder to get your DP down. After this fight, you could use the blessing from the statue there (if you have favor) or the Priest to make this run easier, but I prefer to spend as little money as possible when making money.

You'll need to lose as much DP as possible before facing Merki, no more than -8%/-10% or otherwise he's impossible to beat.

When you're facing mobs, dont bother using physical resistance stance because they'll end it almost as soon as you use it. Just like with the creeping carp, use your arcane echo and then vengeful was khanhei right as soon as they start moving towards you/start casting since they will also strip your arcane echo. Try to sneak one of the visage spells in while you're dealing with a mob, but not both or else you'll have too much exhaustion to work with. Sneak in 1 or 2 vengeful weapons as well. This is mostly to cause the mob to waste their interrupts on an unimportant spell (ancestor/sympathetic visage, vengeful weapon), rather than vengeful was khanhei. If your arcane echo'ed vengeful was khanhei gets interrupted, there's a good chance you're doomed.

Just take one group at a time, because anymore than that and I garauntee you'll die, adding more to your DP. You can afford to die once, leaving you with around -25% DP, but you'll have to eliminate more mobs to get your DP low again. After you eliminate most or all the small mobs around, there's a big mob of around 6 that you cannot beat easily, but that's okay since you can ignore them because they don't move. Go to the right of this large mob to the wooden pier there. Three assassins will drop down so handle them before going after Merki. They have a lot of interrupts too, so deal with them accordingly. Sometimes there's a ritualist there alone, deal with her alone before facing Merki, because Merki must also be faced alone.

When you finally reach Merki, pull him with your staff, and as soon as he starts running towards you, use physical resistance while you're casting arcane echo. Make sure physical resistance doesn't come after you have cast arcane echo, or else it'll end it and you'll be doomed once again. When you cast vengeful was khanhei, you want it to begin as soon as he hits you. Immediately cast one of your visage spells, because if Merki builds enough adrinaline to use dismember, you can not beat him, and he will kill you! You'll need to have one of your visage spells up at all times, but whatever you do, never overlap them since you'll need to stretch 3 visage spells to beat Merki. You'll need to have channeling up for most of the battle as well. Use vengeful weapon sparingly, since you'll need to have enough energy left when you cast the second and third visage spell along with vengeful was khanhei before he can use dismember. Only use soothing memory in an emergency since you need to conserve as much energy as possible for visage spells.

With luck, you'll have made it to him and beat him. One of the possible issues with this run is which faction has control of Harvest Temple. If your faction doesn't have control of it, you might not spawn at the desired shrine, which would more than likely ruin this run for you. I've only attempted this while the kurzicks have control (I'm kurzick).

I almost forgot to mention, if He kills you while he's almost dead, there's still a chance you can beat him if you run back to him fast enough before he's regenerated more than 3/5 of his health.

What about farming Oni (if you can farm them) with this build?
